What EverBook is doing at this stage
is not simply expanding the number of titles.
Rather than adding more works at greater speed,
we care more about whether each work is sufficiently complete, harmonious, and worthy of being presented.
For this reason, EverBook at its current stage
is better understood as a growing digital reading space.
What concerns us is not only the content itself,

We believe that digital publishing should not be merely a matter of technical convenience.

How We Create
EverBook embraces a human-driven, AI-assisted creative approach.
Technology matters here,
but it has never been the core.
AI can assist us with translation, organization, typography, visual generation, and workflow optimization.
But the force that ultimately determines direction
is always human judgment.
That is to say:
- The selection of works comes from human taste and experience
- The structure of each edition comes from human understanding and discernment
- The final atmosphere of a work comes from the creator’s long-term accumulation
Within EverBook, AI is a tool, an assistant,
and a way to extend the boundaries of creation.
But it is not the true beginning of a work,
nor is it the source of its value.
This is also where EverBook differs most profoundly
from many AI-generated content projects on the market today:
We do not pursue the rapid production of content.
We care far more about making a work more complete, more enduring, and more distinctive.
Why Multilingual
From the very beginning, EverBook was never meant for only one language.
Although the current version is primarily based on Chinese and English,
multilingualism is not an added feature，
it is one of the project’s essential directions for the future.
We hope that readers of different languages
may enter the same reading space,
and encounter works that have been treated with the same degree of care in the language most familiar to them.
In the future, EverBook will gradually expand into more widely used global languages
that also hold strong cultural and reading potential.
But we will not expand merely for the sake of expansion.
Every new language must be introduced
with reading quality, cultural adaptation,
and the overall atmosphere of the project as its foundation.
The Current Stage
The focus of EverBook 1.0 / 1.01 has been to truly make the foundational structure work.
This includes:
- The overall website framework
- A functional payment loop
- Download mechanisms
- The structure of individual work pages
- The visual and content logic of the homepage
- The foundational setup for multilingual support
- Basic performance optimization and backup systems
In other words, EverBook is no longer merely an idea.
It is now a publishing system
that can truly operate, continue to evolve,
and expand step by step.
What Comes Next
In future versions, EverBook will continue to move forward in several directions:
- Expanding into more language versions
- Continuing to refine the reading experience
- Enriching the forms of each work (such as illustration, audio, and additional notes)
- Improving copyright and edition management mechanisms
- Building a more stable, coherent, and distinctive body of works
We are not in a hurry to pursue scale.
More than doing more,
we would rather do things with greater precision.
What EverBook Is
If EverBook were to be summarized in a single sentence,
it is not an ordinary e-book site,
nor is it a content project that simply depends on AI.
